BAÑOS DE AGUA SANTA

Baños, called “piece of Heaven” by its inhabitants.

Baños is one of the most important cities of Ecuador for your attraction touristics.Also, it is one of the most popular cities in Ecuador for many reasons:

-the city offers party and joy. Baños has an entertainment district with bars, discos, karaoke and other entertainment centers, which offer tourists the warmth of the local people. It is a safe place to enjoy all kinds of music and the best cocktails.

-the tourist that comes to Baños is protected by the sacred spirits of Volcán Tungurahua, by more than 60 waterfalls that complement the beauty of 2 National Parks (Sangay and Llanganates), by more that 160 endemic species that this zone posses, by its colorful mountains and rivers.

Tunguragua is an active volcano in Baños. Last year it had a great activity causing fear among its inhabitants.

In this beautiful city you can practice a lot of things:

you can practice dow hill in bicycle from Baños to Puyo. Here you can look at big mountains and Pastaza´s river.

you can practice rafting,kayaking,jumping, and climbing.

In this city there is a great variety of national and international food. For example,

- you can savor the sweet “melcochas” and delicious juices that are offered all around the city, as well as exotic fruits offered by the exuberance of the land.

You can go by bus or car and arrive in five hours to Ambato and then twenty minutes to arrive to Baños.

If you travel by car you can enjoy a good landscape.
